Cyan Tec Shows Robojet Robotic Inkjet at PRINTING United 2026
The UK integrator took its direct-to-shape platform to Las Vegas, alongside partners PRISMflex and Ricoh.
Cyan Tec exhibited Robojet, its direct-to-shape robotic inkjet printer, at PRINTING United Expo in Las Vegas (23 to 25 September). With visitors heading for its booth as soon as the doors opened, and crowds gathering to examine and film the machine throughout the first day, the Robojet saw great success in Las Vegas.
Robojet prints direct to shape onto 3D objects, with a robot presenting the component to the print modules so that complex geometries can be handled. The standard platform includes:
Robotic presentation of the component part
Plasma pre-treatment, depending on the substrate material
Full CMYK plus white inkjet modules
Pinning UV curing
Final UV curing
Cyan Tec's sales team reported a strong first day of networking and lead generation, shared with its partners PRISMflex and Ricoh.
PRISMflex, which supplies UV-curable inks calibrated for Cyan Tec's Cyjet printers across North America, exhibited the Cyjet LC. This is a table-top, high-speed, single-pass industrial inkjet printer designed for direct-to-product printing in production and lab environments, and Cyan Tec says the response to it was equally strong. Inkjet head manufacturer Ricoh spoke with visitors about what inkjet can offer for print flexibility, mass customisation and short runs.
