Dantex to launch pioneering innovations at Labelexpo

Dantex is preparing to launch a significant range of new developments in its Pico series at Labelexpo Europe 2025, where the company will be exhibiting on stand #5E73. Emphasising its commitment to delivering customer-focused innovation in digital UV inkjet printing, Dantex will introduce a series of products that highlight its aim to set new standards in regulatory compliance, print quality and workflow efficiency.

Anticipating regulatory change, Dantex has developed a significant new range of high-viscosity UV inks certified to Nestlé’s standards. Although new restrictions on CMR and SVHC chemicals will not take effect until 2027, the company has taken proactive steps to ensure its customers remain compliant. The inks match the performance of the existing range, with a straightforward upgrade process that requires only one working day.

PicoJet at LabelExpo features a series of signifcant upgrades in performance

PicoJet has also undergone significant upgrades. The introduction of DRS (Dynamic Resolution System) offers an unprecedented eight grey levels - the highest currently available in the UV inkjet label sector. This allows for improved resolution, finer halftones, and smoother tonal transitions. Additionally, new small drop technology, developed using proprietary software, achieves sharper definition without sacrificing speed - especially important for demanding applications such as pharmaceutical and medical labelling.

In addition, building on the recent advancements made to PicoColour, Dantex will reveal the new DC350 Mini Finisher from GM at the show. This highly efficient module combines rotary flexo, semi-rotary die-cutting, lamination, cold foil, waste matrix removal, cutting and slitting within a single unit. With its compact footprint and multi-purpose design, the Mini Finisher offers a streamlined, space-efficient solution that minimises operator intervention while increasing productivity.

Further innovation has been introduced to PicoPilot, Dantex’s press operating system. A new graphical user interface offers faster, more intuitive operation and a modernised appearance. Features inspired by the Knight platform represent the initial steps towards adaptive machine intelligence, improving ease of use and workflow efficiency.

Finally, the company has also launched PicoEngine, a powerful digital front end developed in collaboration with Global Graphics Smart DFE. This custom system increases workflow efficiency while providing operators with responsive, touch-friendly control of job management and output, ensuring quick turnaround times and consistent results.

Further announcements will follow after Labelexpo, including more details on the new and innovative PicoPilot, the official opening of Dantex’s new demonstration centre later in the year, and further product developments.

“Our pace of development is unprecedented, and we are proud to be setting new benchmarks in the digital UV inkjet market,” said Ben Danon, CEO of Dantex Group. “By listening to our customers and investing heavily in innovation, we continue to deliver technologies that combine speed, quality and sustainability, while never compromising on build standards. These latest developments demonstrate both our technical leadership and our commitment to the future of label printing.”
