Elisa Santella from GREWUS Announced as Keynote Speaker at FuturePrint Industrial Print, Munich

FuturePrint is delighted to announce Elisa Santella, Managing Director at GREWUS GmbH, as a keynote speaker at FuturePrint Industrial Print, taking place 21–22 January 2026 at Motorworld, Munich.

Elisa’s talk is entitled: Active Haptics: From Printed to Perceptible - Bringing Smart Surfaces to Life

Smart surfaces are moving from flat and silent to expressive and tactile. Elisa will show how active haptics - tiny, targeted vibrations that let flat interfaces ‘answer back’ - turn printed and coated surfaces into controls that build trust and cut errors.

As printed electronics and functional coatings mature, touch feedback is the logical next layer. Haptics adds tactile intelligence: the missing feedback that reduces mis-taps, speeds learning, and keeps interfaces usable when screens, sunlight, noise or PPE get in the way. If you build smart surfaces, choose components, or run Human–Machine Interface (HMI) programmes, this session will give practical steps to make interfaces not just smart, but feel right.

Drawing on two decades in automotive HMI and a track record industrialising haptics at scale, Santella will discuss topics such as selecting actuators (exciters, LRAs and others), coupling to materials, controlling acoustic behaviour, miniaturising without compromise, and moving from lab rig to mass production. You can look forward to grounded examples across automotive, white goods and industrial panels, plus design rules that turn neat prototypes into robust, line-ready products.

Join us at FuturePrint Industrial Print in Motorworld Munich to see how tactile intelligence makes smart surfaces perceptible — and why that matters for reliability, safety and user trust.
