Inkatronic partners with FuturePrint—see their inkjet expertise live in Munich

Industrial inkjet specialist Inkatronic has become one of the newest partners and will exhibit at the upcoming FuturePrint TECH Industrial Print confex in Munich on 21-22nd January 2026. The company is run by Georg Bödler and his son Mikael and is the perfect blend of engineering precision and relentless technological curiosity. From its Austrian R&D hub in Linz, the company handles every stage of development: waveform optimisation, fluid testing, print-quality validation and, ultimately, the build of a bespoke production machine, offering customers a single, accountable path from prototype to factory floor.

Explaining the partnership, Mikael Bödler, who leads New Business Development says:

‘We teamed up with FuturePrint because it’s where the real conversations about the future of printing is happening. It’s a space to talk to the print community and meet OEMs, developers and end-users who are as excited about inkjet as we are.’

The partnership will give Inkatronic wider visibility while opening the door to new collaborations with print-head makers, ink chemists and ambitious OEMs.

Over the next six months the company is working on a scalable print module for recirculating printheads aimed at high-precision functional-coating applications wider than two metres. Central to the design is a patented alignment system that allows micron-level adjustment across multiple heads, supported by automated nozzle-dropout detection and compensation to maintain quality and minimise downtime.

Visitors to FuturePrint TECH Industrial Print in Munich will be able to explor Inkatronic’s technology in the Technology Demonstration Area, meet the Inkatronic team behind the latest developments and discuss any inkjet challenges they may have.

Longer term, the company plans to expand its R&D capacity, deepen work in advanced materials and sustainable packaging, and extend integration services to emerging digital-print markets—always with the same promise: guiding customers confidently from first idea to reliable, large-scale production.
