Second FuturePrint Virtual Summit to run 12-16 October 2020

Following the success of the first FuturePrint Virtual Summit which ran 2-4 June, FM Future co-founders have announced the date of 12-16 October for the second edition to inspire and connect as many people as possible in the global community.

The first summit was created to help the market during a difficult period, and as the crisis continues, and while lockdown begins to ease, the decision to follow this up with another in-depth content-based event has gained widespread support.

According to results from FuturePrint Insight Survey’s and vMeet-Up Groups, it is clear that many businesses will not be sending teams to exhibitions in the autumn in Europe and additionally conferences, should they run, are expected to do so with a depleted attendance.

Achieving 1,564 individual delegates (at the time of writing) from 65 countries, attendees roundly approved of the summit initiative and according to feedback from visitors to our event survey 81.05% regarded the summit to be very helpful to extremely helpful.

Additionally, the US/Euro focus of the content, allied to the ‘mission to help’ appealed to a wide spectrum of people from the global printing industry with over 55% coming from the 18-35 age group and a far lower 55% being male which contrasts with live trade shows and conferences.

New for the Second Edition

The second summit is planned to run for an entire week.

The focus of the content at the summit will incorporate Commercial print, Wide Format, Packaging & Labels and Industrial Inkjet as well as a focus on strategic thinking and leadership, trends and analysis.

Following on from feedback from both attendees for a method for networking, the second event will feature ‘FuturePrint Connections’ which will enable delegates to network online in hosted tables in an innovative forum and the event itself will feature more live interactive discussion and Q&A.

Additionally, ‘FuturePrint LaunchPad’ will run each day throughout the event providing attendees with an opportunity to compare and contrast 3 x technology innovators whether commercial, wide format, packaging or industrial in a live and interactive hour-long webinar format.

If you’re interested in becoming a partner and featuring in the FuturePrint Virtual Summit 12-16 October, get in touch by emailing Marcus Timson.

Content for the first FuturePrint Virtual Summit will remain online and available until 31 July.

The deadline for content partners to join for the Second FuturePrint Virtual Summit is also 31 July.
