Stranger Things - Missing the connection

Stranger Things

With the announcement that Profile Recruitment will be a FuturePrint Partner for 2021, we ask Dorinda Gibbons to give us her thoughts on the beginning of the New Year 2021.

2020 had us all experiencing a different world,  which reminds me of the science fiction series Stranger Things,  with the Upside Down, another parallel World.

No more meeting with people or attending events, the cancellation of Drupa and many other shows.  FM Future Print looked to bridge the gap between these two worlds offering Virtual events with a new way to connect, meet and discuss technology and the industry virtually.

People need to connect and ultimately people still buy from people.  The world will recover and hopefully get rid of the Upside Down but in the meantime we need to continue to use technology and continue virtual events.

I hope the second half of 2021 will let us all get out, and meet again, but in the meantime I very much look forward to the next few events with the Virtual Conference and especially the CEO summit,  which will be a first of its kind and great to get hear from the leaders across the industry.

Thanks to Dorinda
