Cyan Tec Wins ‘Most Innovative Solutions Award’ at the ABB Robotics Value Provider Program Awards in Budapest.

The UK company was recognised for RoboJet, its robotic direct-to-shape inkjet printing platform.

Cyan Tec has won the Most Innovative Solutions Award at the ABB Robotics Value Provider Program Awards in Budapest.

The award recognises RoboJet, Cyan Tec's direct-to-shape digital inkjet platform. A robotic arm that moves the product beneath the print modules, so the system can handle a wide range of sizes, shapes and complex geometries, enabling automated printing and mass customisation on products that are difficult to print on a flatbed. Cyan Tec's Grant Copson explained how it works, using a football as the example, on the FuturePrint Podcast.

Cyan Tec's robotic work extends beyond printing. The company supplies systems for plastics, promotional items, FMCG, sports goods, aerospace, automotive, nuclear and medical applications. ABB's Robotics Value Provider Program is the manufacturer's partner network of authorised system integrators.
